The My Glass team has worked hard to build a nationwide motor glass service that supports customers and insurance partners across South Africa.
Today, My Glass provides mobile auto glass repair and replacement, with technicians travelling to the customer at a suitable location rather than requiring them to visit a traditional fitment centre. Recently, a new service called Mobi-Chip was added into the service mix.
The My Glass service includes:
- Windscreen repair and replacement
- Windscreen chip and crack repair
- Side and rear vehicle glass replacement
- Mobile auto glass fitment
- Glass replacement for a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- ADAS calibration support where required
- Assistance with insurance claim administration
This nationwide service model means customers can access local assistance while being supported by the wider My Glass network.

Being selected through a Request for Proposal process of this scale takes work from many different parts of a business.
It involves the people speaking with customers and insurers, the teams processing claims, the technicians completing repairs and replacements, the service centres and the people working behind the scenes to keep the national network operating.
This successful bid recognises that collective effort.

Continuing our relationship with Santam
Santam has also confirmed that the outcome of this RFP is specific to the Motor Glass Services proposal and does not affect the existing agreement between Santam and My Glass.
That existing relationship will continue as usual.

Motor glass repair and replacement across South Africa
My Glass provides mobile motor glass repair and replacement services nationwide.
Customers can arrange for a My Glass technician to come to their home, workplace or another suitable location. My Glass also assists with the insurance administration associated with a claim, helping make the process simpler from the initial booking through to completion.

Yes. Santam advised My Glass on 2 September 2026 that the company had been selected as the successful bidder following its Motor Glass Request for Proposal process for Motor Glass Repair and Replacement Services.
Does My Glass already work with Santam?
Yes. Santam confirmed that this new RFP decision does not affect its existing agreement with My Glass. The existing relationship will continue as usual.
